Yes..Minky is the faux fur stuff..this is two different grades..one was like 20$ a yard and the other was 15$..so I couldn't waste it....but extremely hard to sew because it is so slick and stretchy....doesn't sew well..Usually people just use it to back their quilts.
Doesn't cut well either. I have tiny little bits of it all over from a baby quilt I just finished.
