I'm doing this project as a huge thank-you, for her coming down to look after me after emergency surgery. At short notice she took time off work, and drove 7 hours to be with me. She looked after my every need; cooking, cleaning, shopping, dishes, chauferring, etc... I had post op complications and infections, and it took about 2 weeks before I was able to stand long enough to make my own meals again.

Anyway that's just a bit of background to explain why I'm putting so much time into it.
Glad to hear you are feeling better. I hope you continue on your journey in healing and what a wonderful Mom. But, that is just like a loving Mom! I know she will treasure whatever quilt you make for her especailly the one you are working on.
