I have heard that bar soap placesd around plants we want the animals to leave alone works. I brush my dog, and spread the fur around the area, and the deer stay away. 1st year I lived here, I planted 100 tulip bulbs. Wrong thing to do. Deer love them. I think I saw 3 tulips bloom. They ate thefolage of the rest as they were growing.
