Several years ago, my sister's best friend got married. For nearly 20 years, the three of us shared and re-cycled each other's clothing. My sister, who lives in Europe, had kept alot of them, including Prom dresses and the dress Annie wore to be her Maid of Honor. She cut them all down for the fabric and sent me a big box of mixed fabric from all those clothes, and asked me to make a quilt as her gift for Annie's wedding.

This is the quilt. the more fragile fabrics, I stabilized with muslin before using. I always loved Amish square in a square, so I started there.
