I did because the instructions told me to, but think that the lining does not need to be padded. The button I used is from a card that I bought in the '60's when I used to sew clothes for myself.
I did use fusible fleece on both the lining and the outer bag but next time I will use fusible interfacing for the lining. I think I should charge more but I am afraid too since I am not that great of a sewer yet
