Cellphones and e-mail didn't exist then. Take lots of pictures of his child, they grow up so fast, and keep him up to date with what is happening with her and the rest of the family. Being so far away is just as hard on him as you. Keep him in your prayers and ask your church if you have one to add him to their list also. We all wish him a safe, speedy return home.
