I'd like to pass on a new tip ---before you wash cottons, clip a
small (3/4") corner at 45 degrees off each corner (4). no raveling.
and, you can also fold the yards --- folded width of fabric x about 24". Just keep making folds until you use all the fabric. use big safety pins in several places and the middle (7 or 8, depending on how many folds you have.) no tangled mess in the washer or dryer
It really works !.
