(1) Pink trouser suit
* I'm a primary school teacher (elememtary school). I currently job-share which means I work a week and am off a week.
(2) Navy trousers
* I have a six year old son, my miracle boy, born of IVF and had 5 further IVFs after him with no sucess.
(3) Countless pairs of curtains
* I'm the middle child in my family and have always suffered from "middle-child-syndrome"!!!!
(4) First lap quilt made with curtain leftovers
* I spent 7 wild months in a kibbutz in Israel when I was 21
(5) many many baby quilts
* Married for 10 years, some good, some bad. The IVF years were hard.
* I've travelled a lot (as Irish people do- it's a very small island). I love going to the US. My recent NYC trip was my 19th time to go to the US (i used to work for Delta Air Lines so got great travel concessions)
* Got a sewing machine for my 30th birthday and that was the start of it all. Saw a quilt in the window of a shop in Spain that cost 485 euros (about $550) and thought "I could do that!!" and that was the start of my addiction.
* Hope to adopt a child. It's a long process here, 5 years form start to finish, so hopefully 2009 will be the year we have our next child.
