I was reading a thread a couple of weeks ago where someone mentioned that it was funny that the design of the sewing machine hasn't varied much at all from the 1800s when it was invented to now....the size and shape with the needle in the same place.....all of it very much like the first ones. This one gives a different concept....not that I need my thread dyed, but you don't have the bulky machine to get in the way. And wouldn't it be nice to have a machine that didn't use a bobbin....just let you put on the large spool and sew.
