Hi Jennie, I got your package---I LOVE them! Thanks so much. It was a bright spot in an otherwise rotten weekend! There's been a delay in cutting your squares. We admitted my mom for emergency surgery Sunday afternoon and they have found other health issues. She was in congestive heart failure and had an incarcerated hernia which perforated her bowel. She's still on a ventilator because she can't get enough O2 into her system breathing own. Her diabetes and 50+ years of smoking have affected some of her systems so it's day to day at this point. They will have to see how everything is after they can get her off of the ventilator. There’s the possibility of kidney failure and dialysis. Her doctor mentioned emphysema & COPD—I’m trying to find out from my sister if he said she has them or he suspects she has them. Either way, it’s not a good outlook. Please pray for continued recovery. I will get them cut and sent to you as soon as I can. I appreciate your patience. Hugs, Mary B MS
