Here's Tracy's email:
I read the thread—yes, as Tink’s Mom said, I am frustrated because the milk pH is still at the highest and we want the lowest!
Oh and I have blind corners in the stalls where you can’t see me pulling up my pants because the snap popped when I bent down to check her milk. LOL
I think the flies were bothering her today because she was kicking her belly and stomping. I went home at lunch time to check on her, use fly spray, and gave her a flake of hay. (Yesterday was the first day for flies.)
She needs to drop a little more in the hips and look like we haven’t fed her for a while.
I was a little encouraged tonight to see three small poops. That’s a sign—frequent small poops. But too bad they were well formed. We like ones that don’t bounce. ;-)
My daughter, Kelsie, should be home tomorrow. Jen McGarvey visits every day to check on her and Swirl (she is Swirl’s human). My work is 10-15 minutes away, depending on traffic. I watch the camera at work on my cell phone. So one of us should be there within a couple minutes if you call when you see her starting to foal.
I am hoping it will be this weekend. I fell asleep at my desk at work today…
I also update on Bit-O-Blue facebook page, including belly pics.
Thanks, everybody!
