No heat, heating element is broken. Using top of the dryer for storage caused the heating element to over heat and burn out quicker than normal. I learned the hard way, now no more stacking clothes on top the dryer. Only have box of dryer sheets on the dryer. PS. I cut dryer sheets in half or thirds rather than using a whole sheet. Does the same job. I don't use dryers sheet in every load. Towels with to much fabric softner will not absorb.
