I did the same thing with my son. He wanted a blankie for his Build-A-Bear to go ni-nite. We tied the blanket. Made me very nervous, those tiny little fingers with a needle going up and down!! 17yrs old and put blankie with teddie in attic!!
I have to laugh because Adam (5yo) is already talking about taking "Black Bear" to college with him. Black Bear is his Build-a-Bear best friend but we refer to him as our 3rd child. Adam may just take Black Bear's new quilt along to college too! LOL.
