I Have used it up to twin size. It was nice to not worry about avoiding pins when machine quilting, and I even hand quilted a lap quilt with it. That made me very nervous - not basting it first! - but it was fine.
The ones I used were VERY low-loft. Not just low loft, which I like just fine, but lower loft than I care for. But the quilting part went fine.
