Nice work eddie.
I love the old qults you found. I know the hand quilted old quilts are irresistible. I love to look at thier work and the fabric are so neat. It sure speaks of a gentler time of life.

I inherited a few and gave them to other members of the family. I felt since I am the only one in the family who quilts, it would be wrong to hoard them to myself. My favorite was a very southern quilt that had a cheddar colored background that set tiny nine patches. Very scrappy and fun. I gave it to my favorite brother.

There were a few others I gave away, but, I kept a baskets one my mom gave me while she was alive. (I am not sure where she got it) And a hand quilted dresden plate with scalloped edges from a lady in north carolina mom bought while on vacation many years ago.
