You can get them for a lot less money and especially on ebay. If you go back and look at the completed ones you will see many that never got one bid, because they were too high. I have even seen several regular featherweights sell for under $200. I got mine for 180.

A guy from Kansas came to one of our CA quilt shows and all his featherweights were over 1,000. He must have thought either he had a bunch of suckers. Or because everything was so expensive here we would bite. He had all his machines when he left on Sunday. LOL.
