just don't be afraid of it. I used an old sheet for practice cut my squares about 7 inches got some Stitch and Tear Pellon interfacing Cut a square to put under the fabric. Hoop it and place the hoop on the machine choose your design lower the pressure foot and hit the button! Away it goes it tells you when to change thread colors. I like to stitch out the design on this scrap fabric so I can see where I might want to change colors in the design. Come on give it a whirl you are going to love it!
