Okay just to get this out here.....As far as the Singers are concerned when we give the date of the machine it is for the day that they were allotted to be manufactured. Your machine depending on the serial number will fall after the allotted date.
For instance lets say that my machine was allotted April 20 1911 and there were 50,000 of them made. Feasibly it could have been manufactured well into August of 1911. It just depends on the serial and were it fell in the allotted run.
