I think my longest quilt was a harley davidson applique quilt. It took days just to create and cut out the template for the logo. Then creating all the layers, all the ironing and cutting and stitching. It think it took me a month working on it every night.
My longest block was a bulldog head. Same as above, it took weeks to create the design, cut the template, glue stick / iron the fabric, cut it, layer it and stitch it. It is stll just a block, haven;t decided what to do with it yet. Maybe i'll make one of each bulldog I ever had and then turn it into a quilt - okay that would take over a year :)
