I'm so excited to join everyone here! I finally feel like I can call myself a quilter after years of yearning followed by several more of learning.
Now with the time, money, inspiration, and the bare minimum of confidence required, I've been enjoying my first major project: a double-diamond "ocean" themed (batik) queen-size quilt for one of my sons... The quilting phase has begun, and is going well!
After lurking here for a while, I realized how thoroughly I've enjoyed this forum of sharing and support. Your quilts, insights, talents, and quilting spirit has inspired and guided me - I wanna be like all of you when I finally make the big leagues! Thought I'd start training now :thumbup:
