Beautiful gransdons, Monica!! And glad your test came back ok.
Precious babies, Anael. Glad life is getting back to normal for your family and glad the precious babies are home.
Love the blocks Katybob and Gladys!! They look great.
Here is my L-4 St. George's Cross. Pitiful, I think I'm really rusty. Anyone else sewing on a Featherweight? Can I blame it on the machine?? It's not really hour-glass shaped, it's just not lying flat for the picture. But it isn't straight and I left out one of the white strips, not sure how I managed to do that.?. Think I'm looking at a re-do for this one, but it did feel good to sit down and sew again.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I had trouble lining up L-4, too, Cindy, and L-6, which is similar to L-4, was even trickier. I did a lot of ripping on that one.

Oh my -- I do have to get back to working on my DJ -- I haven't done a thing on it for months -- and this is the first time I have read the board either. Time has a way of slipping by and I have been busy with other projects

Welcome back, Mim. You're in Maine at this time of year, aren't you? If I remember correctly, doing lots of outside work?
Here's L-4 again. I just started over, I couldn't fix the other one. St. George's Cross.

Sorry, that reflection off the ruler is pretty bad, but it kept it flat while I was taking the picture.
Just curious, what machines are you all using? What about irons? I'm using a Featherweight and a Black and Decker 'Quick and Easy 310' iron.

Well I finished my DJ. Tris and all. Put it together. Did not like the trianles on it so took them off. and put a plain light border on it . Liked it much better. Hope to get someone to help me post pics this week. Now to get it to the quilters or to hand quilt it. There are soooo many seams that might be a problem. So to the quilter we go. Am saving all those triangles and probly (short hand spelling lol) will use them on something else.

yes, back in Maine for the summer. Cutting brush, mowind lawns/back fields and for the first time, playing bridge once a week.
In addition, I am doing an hour or 2 every evening hand quilting on my feathered star queen size quilt. I finished the top in March and the quilt group I belong to helped to baste it. I have 1/4 of it done so I will take it to bridge on Monday to show and then put it away until winter. There are quite a few quilters (or ex quilters) who want to look at what I do. I will take a pix and post it next week. Then I can start on smallerr projects that I have been itching to do -- including DJ. I brought everything with me when I came.
