I've enjoying seeing what everyone is coming up with. I was not going to jump on this train since I abandoned #19 due to poor fabric choices, and #18 is languishing in the UFO box, but when the train passed right by my house I couldn't resist. Thankfully I jumped on board just before all the flooding around here. I did bring peach salsa and chips for all to enjoy. I have all the HSTs and four patches done. I don't have much in the way of dark scraps, so I hope I can use the three one yard lengths pictured -- they are darker than show up in the pic.

Oh My those blocks are so pretty ladies, Tomorrow is the big reveal. Can hardly wait to see. Belfrybat thanks for the snacks. Not much food on this ride. I'm wasting away. I think I'm down 2 maybe 3 ounces.

I'm frantically working on mine and still hoping to be caught up by tomorrow. I can't wait to see what Judy has in store for us! She has such a great taste in quilts, I'm sure it's going to be stunning.

Can someone explain the references to snack cars and where it came from? I've always thought it sounded fun! If anyone is hungry I made Nacho Chili tonight. Help yourself

Did u guys hear about Fabric Depot closing its doors online & it’s real store in Portland Oregon suddenly? I’m soooo sad. Was planning a trip with my sister to pick out fabric for her quilt. It was a huge local store unlike anything I’ve ever seen, not that I’ve been out to many quilt shops but it was as big or bigger than any JoAnn’s & filled with the top quality stuff. I really mean it when I say I’m bummed!
You know what we need in the club car, blackberry cobbler. It’s that time of year. Yum!

I was planning to make an apple/cranberry cobbler. Will that do?

My oh my, what a busy bunch you all have been since I was gone! Everything looks splendilicious!

Tomorrow, tomorrow, it's almost tomorrow,
It's only a day away!

Can you hear me singing my little ditty? See you in the morning.

Nacho chilli sound great! As to your question -- starting with the first train ride, we filled the club car with all kinds of food and drink. Sometimes we've even had a waiter and bartender! In the last few rides the food and gathering in the club car has diminished some. There's even been times I've headed for the pullman car for a nap. BTW, this train has a caboose and some folks run for the train and just barely jump on the caboose -- complete with bags of fabric and sewing machines. I love the fantasy aspect of the train and its riders.

I've been a bit negligent in bringing food, but will make up for it with some fresh/warm apple dumplings...and of course some ice cream to go with it. We will on be on a sugar high when the final clue comes out....but energized to sew. I'm counting off the hours.
