As usual Patti, it is beautiful - no one can accuse you of copying a design, can they? It's a wonder you didn't change your Jane too, apart, that is, from the unconventional colour scheme, LOL..

Oh...for the inner border I am going very simple. I do have that bright orange that I'm using and I think I will just do a plain border..I will be adding either a flange or piping of a shimmery cream. so....it will be simple as I think the blocks and the trapunto are fancy enough for the center section.

LOL...yes, Lesley...thats what DH says..."you just can't leave well enough alone, can you??? " LOL!

    Hi Kathy!
I am in NY. I have not decided to hand or machine embroider it. I want to hand embroider it, but my stitches are not good enough yet. I am making Esther the Easter Chicken to practice on. Someone on the board had her and I fell in love.
I am planning on 7 inch blocks and queen sized, but i think enlarging the blocks would be more practical. So my mind is not set. I love the cream colored sateen!
    Thanks for writing :)

I know Patti isn't around today, so thought I would point you to her trapunto tutorial. I don't think this is the design she's using for her AOTH, but it will show you how she does it.

    what great artist can?
If we all stayed with the status quo, the world would still be flat.
Not "my" saying, but I so agree.
You have to change things up, bc it is so inspiring for those around you...tell dh it is your job to do that, lol!
