Patrice, that is beautiful!! It gives the impression of a modern day baltimore album, or at the VERY least a Super Turbo Sampler. Either way, you've got yourself a winner!!!

Norah, you definitely got right to the point... Yes, I know, puns are Patrices job, but your block looks great!

Patrice, I love it, how big is it going to be? I see you made two of every block. If your blocks are 12" it is already 60x72.

Mary

I wish I had planned better from the start and I could have done the same. I didn't read the first messages about the BOM's.

that's the ArrowHeads block from April 1st. i posted a bunch of stuff that day so folks could choose from different skill levels. i threw in a couple of extra ideas for ways in which they could challenge themselves to try new things.

http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/876.page

as for your self-alleged lack of planning ... who said you had to have a plan in the first place? or that you can't change your plan any time it suits your mood? AND we set this up in a way that it doesn't matter when you jump in. everybody is free to decide whether they want to get all the blocks and "catch up" or just start with the one they found first. there a at least a couple of ladies who've kept track of the picks but haven't been able to start working on them yet. nobody is checkin up on anybody. it's all good.

it will be a lap quilt. the blocks are 8" each. i haven't even started thingking yet about the border. luckily that's months off. LOL

i haven't made two of any of the Tutti Fruittis. i just plugged duplicates into the empty blocks on the design before i posted it. what you see here is a combination of scans and photographs imported to EQ6. can't photo the real thing until i add the little corners to the earlier blocks and make some more x-boxes.

one the one hand, i'm always itchin' to see the next pick because i'm so impatient. on the other, it's nice to have a UFO i can "blame" on somebody else. LOL

I like your attitude, young lady. Always blame someone else for anything left unfinished. I been doing that since I could talk. The quilt is going to be beautiful. I wondered how you got so much done so fast. Boy, was aI feeling guilty for slacking there for a minute.

Okay, thanks, I forgot about that one. I should have printed them all out, but I just saved them to print out later. The problem with that is I forget what I have saved. lol That darn short term memory loss!!!

Well I am always in such a hurry to try things that I dont think them through.

I did the same thing with the quilt I am making. I sewed all the blocks together and echoed all the pieces forgetting I had to sew this piece to others. I went real close to the edge and hopefully I have at least a 1/4" all aroung to sew to the other parts. It wouldn't be so bad, but the points
(*x**^) go almost to the ends of the block.

Oh well, just another challenge

Try adding a skinny border so you'll have enough fab to turn under.
