Misty, that is one block I have never seen before, but find intriguing. This has turned out to be a great way to see a block done in numerous colorways. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much Boo. And we can't wait to see yours when ever you want to do a block.

My March Block. It was kind of tricky.

Well, kinda tricky in that you don't fly the distress signal of upside down flags... you done good. Those flags all seem to line up nicely.

Great looking block. I agree with Tim about the flags all matching up. I probably wouldn't have paid attention to that and would have them going every which way. Good job.

Here's my block. It took some time to find the fabric but the block itself didn't seem to take that long. I followed the pattern (flying geese). What do you do with the extra half-square triangles from the flying geese?

you did an excellent job. i thought you said you were a beginner. ;-)

save the left overs for another project. most of us save our scraps. they come in handy when you just a little of something for other projects. when you have enough collected, you can make blocks or whole quilts from them. there's a great website with lots of ideas for using up scraps.

Miranda,

I've been watching your weight loss counter - the turtle is so cute. Way to go; you've lost some more wieght! That's great. Is it the quilting that does it?
