Default 2016 - January Block of the Month - Directions & Discussion

Here - at last - is the link to our January block: Crossroads

http://www.quilterscache.com/C/CrossroadsBlock.html

this block can be either traditionally pieced or paper pieced.
the link is to paper piecing foundations, instructions and tips from Marcia Hohn.

I've only recently gotten into foundation paper piecing and I really like it. I'll have to give this a try. Thanks for the info.

I haven't tried foundation paper piecing yet . . . don't know why, but just haven't. This block should be the "push" I've needed!

I've decided to try doing the block of the months as I'm thinking it will help me learn different techniques. I must say that paper piecing does NOT come naturally to me. Oh boy, oh boy. I will persevere and get it though!

Thank you for the information I too wanted to know how to do a strip race quilt that would fit my queen size bed.
