Default Civil War Tribute

I am looking for Month 1 directions and or kit for CIVIL WAR TRIBUTE block of the month. I know this is a long shot. My niece moved and purged her quilting supplies bequeathing to me 11 months of this BOM. Month 1 is missing and perhaps any extra directions that were given out when it was created. I have tried contacting the fabric mfg and Homestead Hearth who kitted it up with no reply.

Maybe if you look at the block you can figure it out or some one can help you. Is no. 1 the corner blocks?

I found a picture of the month 1 here https://paperpiecedquilting.com/prod..._medium=social

So maybe those pictures can help. Another idea is that the Fat Quarter Shop was also doing the Civil War Tribute BOM. Perhaps they have access to Month 1?

If all else fails, search and choose another traditional block that is similar to what is in the quilt now and using the fabric scraps from the other blocks to make a replacement block. Option 2, repeat a block in other colors/fabrics, bet no one will notice.

I found your post, which is more than a year old, but I am hoping beyond hope that you can help me. Where can I find directions to Block 3?

while everyone is looking Homestead Hearth made wonderful BOM's but had poor email customer service, I wrote a number of times over the years and never did get a reply. It is now under new owners and they probably wouldn't have anything at hand for older projects.

Sorry that you did not get a good response from the company, KalamaQuilts. If I was in your spot, I would go back to some of the suggestions here and make a similar traditional block using scraps from other month's to finish your BOM from long ago. Even a "crazy quilt" block or tiny squares might do.
