(or one of them you can do the centre by hand, then add a border by machine). I am trying to get ahead a bit, because I have a friend coming to stay for a couple of weeks in February, and I don't want to get behind while she is here!
This is the first time working with a solid Kona cotton. I hate it! If you make a mistake and have to rip out, the original needle holes don't go away! LOL

Holy smokes! Somehow I missed this thread and it's already at 5 pages.

Great blocks everyone!!

Sheree - can you dab a bit of water on the material and see if the holes disappear as the water dries? Have you starched your material? I was thinking it may be that the starch is holding the fabric so tightly it can't relax and thus the holes would stick around. Just a thought.

Tomorrow I'm calling my LQS to find out where the heck my background fabric is! I'm going loony waiting for it!

Lesley, your blocks are fabulous...I would expect no less from you. I bow to the master! (bowing, and trying to get up...jeesh, this back is really getting creaky!!)

Thanks Tiffany. I'll try starch and steaming. I hope you get satisfaction with your call about your background fabric. If not, we can all be your back up callers!

Love your retro fabrics! You lucked out with minimal ripping out. A couple of these were real buggars for me! LOL
