Finally, I got the first 25 done. I know I am behind and late, late, late but I just couldn't help myself doing this quilt. They are not perfect by any means but I can definitely say I have learned so much... I am making 2 blocks for 1 to make an extra quilt for a friend. Please let me know what you think.

They are not in order. I changed them around to suit the colors better.

They are beautiful!!!! Good work!!! Congratulations! You reached 25 - I'm still someplace around 15. LOL I made it to 13 then skipped and just started again in the 40's. Now I'm trying to work forward 2 and backward 1.

    Great Job!!!!

You blocks are looking great and don't worry about how long it takes. Many of us have projects that have been in the works for literally "years".

These are great! One of my resolutions was to start this. Have the book, just need to decide what colors/fabrics I want to use.

I have about 70 blocks done. some of them are alittle off so I will be redoing about 6 or 7 of them. The key is to make sure that you don't cut on the bias so that they stretch when you are sewing them because it throws them off!

Go to the forum and look for the farmer's wife quilt. It will tell you where to download the patterns.

Really lovely Mizgoodie, I have the book and I want to get started, - I also long to do Sylvia's Bridal Sampler - BUT I MUST finish my Dear Jane first - the link to my design wall is below - and then I can start FW and SBS !! Oh that there were more hours in the day !!
