They are all amazing! Yes I have to say it looks hard! But I'm willing to try. I can do paper piecing with no problems. Done oodles of them, but never a star as this. My advice to anyone wanting to try is to, get some old and ugly scraps, practice, practice, practice! Then before you know it you'll have an ugly duckling turned into a beautiful work of art.

I finished a quarter of the block today (lol, I'm taking it slow). I'm a little worried about how mine is going to turn out - I'm doing all Black and White fabrics and I'm afraid it's going to look VERY busy. =/ Oh well...we'll see how it comes out.

The second I used the freezer paper method where you don't stitch through the paper but fold it and stitch right along side the paper. I have decided that is my favorite way to do paperpiecing. I have always hated removing the paper, and with the freezer paper method you don't have to. And, you don't even have to use freezer paper. You can just pin your pattern to the first piece of fabric and away you go. I think this is a beautiful, beautiful star.
