I'll be joining in on the fabulous mystery train ride again. Judy, can you tell us if it will be lap size? I need to make a lap quilt for a cousin who had a stroke. I will be visiting her in September. I'm hoping this will be the one. Thanks for all your hard work. You don't know how much all of us appreciate it. Oh yeah, glad your wrist is getting better.

    Looking forward to the ride.

Thank you Vicki M for emailing me or I would have missed the train. I started at no 5 , found the previous trips and travelled them and jumped on board for the rest. My favourite patterns have all come from train rides, thank you so much jhey and glad to see you back sewing.

Oh Cmaras, you are in for a fun ride, even if you just read along and save the clues for later. These are the best. With full intentions listening to several of doing nothing but a ride along, they end up digging into stash and doing the train too, its a laugh, a lot of knowledge, wonderful people.

Don't get on here much anymore. (Usually to see if Judy has started the Mystery yet). So happy it will begin soon. I have finished all of Judy's mystery's except one. Can't wait until the 27th. Very glad Judy is mended and able to fulfill our addictions to her Mystery Train rides.

Hi Cmaras ! handing you a cup of tea and passing the plate of cookies.... many of us have a stash of fabric from previous projects or trips to quilt stores where we found a fabric we just had to have but did not use right then. The pattern is the mystery, with clues at regular intervals and cutting and/or piecing instructions in each clue. Previous train rides have had the fabric clues first, indicating how your chosen colors need to relate to each other in print size, tone, value, etc. We share our progress with pictures...... and the Mystery Train picks us all up February 27, 2016 Mountain Standard Time (U.S.A.)...three more sleeps!
