Great block, April. Love the cowgirl in the center. You really did fantastic with the fussy cutting. I warn all newcomers: these blocks are addicting! I plan to work on one and then go do some cleaning but I always end up making 2 blocks and not cleaning LOL. Glad you've joined us.

LOL Thank you all for your kind words on my first block. I had a lot of fun FCing the cowgirl and the horses and even the little star points. The block went together beautifully. I am working on another one today

Jan I had to have the cowgirl...after all she has brown hair like me LOL I have four cowboys already planned for another block :-P

You're right. A Beauty can't be paper pieced. It's all those Y-seams. Four others can't be pp'd: Bright Hopes (Y-seams), Bird'sEye (curves), Elsie's Favorite (curves), Gold Nuggets (Y-seams). BTW, I don't have those memorized. I peaked at the table of contents for each file of patterns.
