It isn't only Carrie that rubbed off but Lynn with Kansas Troubles. Seeing her beautiful quilts was so inspiring and then my LQS has expanded their Civil War fabrics and there is a much wider selection. Just wait to see the blocks in the coming weeks. It's so fun to work with the new fabrics.

Think I have problems with CW fabric...the BOM Civil war journal started in January, became a UFO in March, and ever since it has been laid away in a box...way down on the list to do. Wish I were closer to some of you, and will help it might see daylight. I paid the monthly BOM charges for two, bf & I, and she never had time to do it with me after the March session, so I just dumped the packages of material and patterns into a box. Now she is slowly recovering from her major surgery, her stitches come out today. And here sister and her are quilting on projects together.

Enough UFOs to keep me busy in that quilt room. Hope to finish several soon....especially for gs.

Lots of chatter this week...I like it... All the blocks are the same pattern and the fabrics make them so very different...I finally got this block finished...I had a very difficult time of it...I mirror imaged it and found that very confusing...I just couldn't get it put together correctly...after pressing it and looking at it I said to myself "how did you manage to get it backwards after all that planning". Now when I look at it in the photo after scanningit...it's the way I planned it...What is wrong with me!!!! Now to conquer the second one for this week...

It's beautiful Anne. I think that it will accent your quilt wonderfully.

QNSue...which civil war journal BOM did you start? I found several different ones. Are you still getting monthly packages?
