Oh, Bonnie! None of us even caught the date either, when you told us you were going. Well, you still had time to catch up on relaxing, if you wanted to do that.
QNS, I don't see how that's a modified log cabin block, but it surely looks nice. It will be fun to see that progress, since the center is off-set. Keep us posted!
I planted a bunch of carnations today. They were only a $1 at Lowe's. We always look at their sale cart when we go there. My husband needed some mortar to repair a crack in our backyard koi pond. I bought more flowers than he bought cement stuff.

Oh Sue! I love it! It is gonna be beautiful!
The flooring installer actually showed up today. I have flooring in my den. I still have 4 rooms, 2 small halls & 2 large closets that need flooring.

Or would you be interested in a BOW that is just starting? There's a free one called Rest and Refreshing BOW that is supposed to be Civil War fabrics, but of course you could use any fabric. The first block was released today. Only going to be free for one week, so you have to download it during this week. New block comes out every Monday... good for one week only. After the free week, if you missed downloading it you can buy it for $.99. Check it out here:
to sign up for the weekly newsletters with the download links:

"Woven Star"
Givio and I are doing it... maybe some of you would like to also?

In Eleanor Burn's store I saw the prettiest sampler quilt on the wall. Turns out it is from her book, "Egg Money Quilts"... the ONLY EB book that is now out of print and unavailable. So I turned to Ebay and other used book sellers and found they were already scalping the book for huge bucks. I was able to find one for $13 so I snagged it up. After the quilt show I'm sure lots of others will be looking for the same book. Don't know why they don't just do another printing of it.

Dublb, I like OK 's comment, "It's a start!" on your flooring. Givio, the flowers sound so lovely. That's what I would love to do but flower beds still have grass in them...gotta solved that problem first before I get any more.
Thanks for all your kind words. I am motivated from all of the encouragement. The stock and whack from ten years ago is on the guest bed, so I can see what is wrong with the current projects. (One has a June deadline!) The latest is on the vertical board that I showed all of you...one row done of the King sized pattern. Three more to go. (Due at Christmas time, so I have time before I have to finish it!) PC quilt that is LA'd done is trimmed for the binding to go on it...maybe today...brings back so many memories to look at it.
OK, I am guilty of saying a little prayer each morning for God to guide me through the day, doing what He wants me to do to keep my hands busy. And then I try to go with the flow. Seems like my best laid plans always go astray, but after a life long occurrence, I am getting used to it. LOL! What will be, will be.
SBG, what a bummer to have the wrong dates. I hope you reserved the hotel for next year on the right dates. You still got to see a lot without the crowds of the right quilt week.

Today, DH & I drove to the DFW area & traded his 2006 Tundra in on a 2009 Tacoma. It has 50,000 less miles on it, is $33 dollars less a month, gets 21 MPG & it's a standard! DH & I both prefer to drive standards. If it had cruse on it I think it would have become mine.
The flooring guy came while we were gone & he got half of 3 more rooms done. These rooms flow one from the other so he got the flow going. He said that he will do the other half of these rooms tomarrow. Thursday he says that he will get the last room, the 2 small halls & the 2 large closets. He said that his plans are to finish the trim up on Friday. Since he came 2 days in a row I am hopeful!
