JeanieG, I love your "hot" pink and the campfire gathering of the cowpersons...not sure if its cowboy or cowgirls there...

But the blocks look perfect and the colors are wonderful!! Great job!!

I need to get back to sewing these blocks!

QNS FC and fabrics placement are your specialities. Wonderful, and great news about the FWS. Another one who can't wait!
Janie what fun colors in GJ. I like how the triangles pull out the aqua from the center square motifs.
Jan. Your green block is a very pretty block, but is sure outshined by the "young one" in this pair. The bright jewel tones created an exquisite block.
Jeanie--the pinks are a nice surprise. The cowboys around the campfire are set in with the yellow edges pieces so well
mirabelle GJOy is going to add a nice contrast in your overall quilt design.
GGal--side by side how differnt thses two blocks are . A busy and quiet block for the quilt, right?
DDamsel--now these two complement each other with their similarities. Fraternal twins so to speak. Nice.
Termi I so enjoyed seeing "red" in these two. Such a cute Gmother block.
GrannyQ so many shades of blue. Yeah for sweet creamy butter blocks.

Great contrast in both blocks JeanieG!! Just love the 'sitting around the campfire' fabric. Wonder if they're roasting marshmallows.

Who has the marshmallows tanight??????
I gotta tell ya'll a story. I really haven't had any sugar since '05. So my DS regularly buys his own candy, ice cream, cookies, or anything else w/sugar. (Sometimes DH will buy him some.) And he will regularly buy marshmallows. He'll even roast 'em in the fireplace or over a candle. My DS gave him marshmallows for Christmas a few years ago & it made him very happy! I love that I can have these vertual marshmallows w/ya'll!

Default GJ and GF

Hello!

I got a little time to go to "the clubhouse" yesterday and was able to get papers cut, measurements figured and fabric cut for this week's blocks. Today I got them both sewn!

Plus I just got done getting everything ready for next week's blocks so I might actually be able to post Tuesday night on the "week of". I will keep working on blocks I've missed too and also sashing...at least on the blocks getting the red/teal combo. The blue/tan I think I am going to mix up the layout.

Hope you all are having a great weekend!!
Carrie

Carrie, I love the colors in Girl's Joy. And Gma's favorite is so sedate (calm green colors, QE with a dash of red for excitement)
