Hi, I have nothing to show--I've been too busy with getting things together for the house in NC. I will be away for a few weeks but I will still be posting the threads every Tuesday. Anne

I have done this block and often times have no point. Do you have a pattern to put out there so we can get as perfect looking blocks as you have?

Hi Ruth Ann, You're apparently having a problem with the half square triangles. Just make them bigger- and when attaching just make sure that the extra fabric is on the outside of the block- then you will have enough room to square the block up and you will have your points. Anne

Sounds like a busy time; I think this group is getting smaller in number of people finishing the blocks;hope they catch up later, love seeing everyone's blocks.

Hi Pookie, At the present time it's a second home. We really can't sell right now with the housing market the way it is. We're getting it set up with furniture, etc. A real busy time now. Have no fear--I'm not going anywhere or disappearing. I just have too much "stuff" ready to be packed and no room for sewing. How am I going to divvy up my sewing stuff. It's very hard to decide on what to take for down there and what to leave for home. :-( :-( Anne

It will get easier each year, and with a lot of garage sale purchases, you eventually aquire lots of duplicates that make coming and going easier, we started out pulling a small trailer back and forth, then went to just the SUV and for the first time this year, we just drove the car (pretty full yet) but each year we have to haul less back and forth, so when we can't drive the 1400 miles and start flying we will be in a good place. Enjoy your new retirement home!

Now I really know I have to take a break!! I thought #31 was a revised #32 and after seeing them together I realized I made a mistake. In either case the blocks are great! Anne

I'm laughing cause I got home from work late and after I saw your comment about a short cut I kept going back to the pic to see what I did LOL!! Thought I did something clever! Everyone's comments are so nice; I think we really encourage one another. DH's comment on the purple and gold block: looks like the farmers wife went to Las Vegas and made a block out of one of Elvis's jumpsuits! He didn't like the gold sparkly fabric.
