    Block # 55 Linoleum

Please read the instructions as there is more than one way to do it.

    1. Light T # 1 Cut a 2-1/2" square.

    2. Light T # 13 Cut a strip 1-7/8" x 8" then cut every 1-7/8" to get four 1-7/8"
squares then cut in half diagonally (corner to corner).

    3. Med T # 25 Cut a strip 1-1/2" x 10-1/2" then cut every 2-1/2" to get 4 pieces that measure 1-1/2" x 2-1/2".

    4 Light T # 25 Repeat step 3.

    5. Dark T # 65 Cut a strip 2-1/2" x 10-1/2" then cut every 2-1/2" to get four 2-1/2" squares.
Use the template to cut correct angles.

    OR

You can follow the two steps here in place of steps 2 & 5 from above.

    2. Light T # 13 Cut two strips 1-9/16" x 6-1/2" then cut every 1-9/16" (9/16" is several threads past 1/2")
to get EIGHT 1-9/16" squares. Mark a line diagonally (corner to corner).

    5.Dark T # 65 Cut a strip 2-1/2" x 10-1/2" then cut every 2-1/2 to get four 2-1/2" squares.

6.Place a 1-9/16" square on a corner of a 2-1/2" square from step 5 right sides facing. Sew on the marked line.
Flip the triangle to the outside corner and press. Do not stretch. Trim the underneath layers away leaving a 1/4" seam
being careful not to cut the top triangle off. repeat this process for the opposite side of the square.

Refer to book for block assembly.
