HERE WE GO ------Even though itís not quite the 15th where I am, I know itís the 15th already for a lot of you so hereís the link youíve been waiting for to the January Star Block. Since we all hope to become friends over the course of this year working on this BOM, I have chosen the Friendship Star for us to begin with.

Hey JudyG..... I see you are from Wickenburg! I am in Sun City, just down the road. I just love it when I see someone in my neck of the woods on here.

I think I will join in with this BOM. I started one on another of my forums, but it slowed way down over there. I have my fabrics all together and this block is way easy!

I wonder how many of us are trying to access the site at once! I'm sure the link will work later.

Thanks Judy! I ordered some fabric for these stars, so I can't start for a couple of days until that comes in, but I'm excited to see what we're doing this month!

7:19 AM in the morning and I thought I was going to be to early for the block, so imagine my great joy in seeing it already posted. Now to housework so I can sew with a clear conscience.

    JudyG-
This really looks like a fun BOM-think I am going to have to join in and sew away. I live in Flagstaff, Az and it is so nice to see someone else from out area of the USA. Thank you for leading this nice BOM. I think I can handle one block each month-it will be fun.

I would love to try this BOM. I've never done one and appreciate any and all suggestions. Should I buy a certain amount of a background material now to use on all the squares or do you usually go with what is in your stash? I am fairly new and stash isnt huge but it does have some fun fabrics just not a large amount of any one fabric. Here we go.

Thank you! Looking forward to working on this. Im new here, but have been quilting for years. This is a great way to start. I usually piece by hand, but I am looking forward to learning to machine piece. Im sure I'll have lots of questions.
