Sandpat you are too funny! You will find out I am all about moving forward, I just keep ironing until they look better and better, then trim the edges. Thank goodness we are not laying a ruler next to them in the pics. :) :) I heard a lady in our quilt shop, yesterday, say she irons them until they die! Oh my gosh...

Everyone block look wonderful. Ya'll are just being to hard on yourselves. I need the house guests to leave so I can sew. I'm falling very behind. I have more house guest in two weeks but their family so it won't be so bad. I keep telling everyone it's cold here but they just don't beleave me.

Sandpat & Sheree I ended up doing the applique from the center rather than curved piecing. I didn't want to re-do anything this week...though I will tell you I went ahead and did next weeks including a flippin re-do!! LOL Anyway, I finished today and should find some time to work on the midget blocks tomorrown night.

I am definitely NOT looking ahead. I don't want to get discouraged....we'll get through it! Quilting TIME is a gift to myself for my 40th birthday year----YAY 2010!! I will finish Jane (even if she does get me committed).

Retro...that was a good idea to to that block that way. I need to get over the just print the page out and think I automatically "must" do it a certain way. I need to take more time to think them through on the front end. I think thats where I'm running into my problems....well, that and trimming wrong..

Sandpat,
I just didn't have the time to learn how to scan everything in and wasn't sure about fabric selections anyway. If I were using just a couple fabrics, I could see it being worth the effort but it also wouldn't bother me to put the blocks in a different order than Jane's. I guess I'm old school with pen and paper!! LOL. I did use the one that was posted here but instead of putting it online somewhere, I just pulled it up in a desktop publishing software. Click, copy, update, save. That's it. I was afraid if I had just one piece of paper I'd lose it. Things have a way of disappearing around here....I'm not saying it's ALL the dog....LOL but he does play his part.

For the trimming are you talking about the sashing around your blocks? I'm thinking I need to add them after all but do not want to do it now...who knows? Maybe I'll change my mind again! LOL

Whatever works is what I would Highly recommend!!!!
No..the trimming I was talking about was cutting the block to size at the very end...One of mine for this week...I was finished, then I cut the seam allowances off on one side...How dumb is that???
