I think you are may be thinking about the Quilt Along for 2013 there are 2 blocks for that one an easier one and a more challenging one. I know I am getting a little confused as I want to do all of them

I am, geezs thanks for jogging my memory! I guess my "new year" hasn't quite started yet. I better say a couple more prayers and ask for the mind to please be a little sharper. Thanks for helping me along....

if you make the block four times and play with the arrangement of the four quadrants you can make four different blocks. if you play with the arrangements of the triangular sections of the quadrants you can make even more different blocks.

here are some examples.

Well Patrice show off.. had a bit of time on your hands? try it this way.. try it that way.. try it.. love it and wow if you could perfect it then it would be very easy to whip out a bunch of them in the same fabric different item each time what a quilt that would be no one would ever guess. and that would be the idea

thanks. i do plan to use them in a quilt. also, i wanted to have enough practice to be able to answer questions for anybody who tried the traditional piecing with Y-seams. soooo ... i made twelve of them.

not today. i had the advantage of knowing ahead of time which block SulaBug had chosen. that gave me time to play and prepare.
