Hi everyone! I'm working on July's BOM and still ahve June and May to do yet. I know it's backwords but I don't have any real good excuse. I had to look the patterns up again even tho' I have printed them out and put them somewhere to be "safe".

you don't need an excuse. we aren't keeping track.

the rule is: there is no rule about which blocks you do or when you do them. ;-)

I just found a similar block in my great grandma's box of quilting things that were left to me when she passed. Hers was slightly different. The center was not a square, but everything else is identical. What is the name of that pattern?

I LOVE the block! And isn't it interesting the different optical illusions you get with the darks and lights???

Finally went back and finished June. Now I can hardly wait for September.

This block really brought out all of talent of you folks. I love every block I have seen. Hope everyone hangs on until the last block.

Jerrie, that is so pretty. I have not seen those fabrics before. Very nice.
I have to get April, May, and June done still. Oh my, slacker I am.

Ladies your blocks are all beautiful. It’s amazing how the tones and placement of the fabrics make such a difference. Well I have finally finished the June block; I now know how to sew “Y” seams.
Will be taking the July, Aug, and Sept. blocks to my quilting retreat in Sept. This year’s theme is UFO. Have lots of those from previous retreats.
