thanks for choosing an applique pattern sewjoice, although I procrastinated ( because I was unsure how to machine applique it) it was a great learning experience.. I would like to do more machine applique!

The second pic is one that I designed in my embroidery software and am making a quilt as you go block in the hoop for a wall hanging. I can handle the emb. machine and designing just fine.

I love the embroidered one!!! It is beautiful. The appliqued one is good... it just takes practice... The more you do the better it gets. Your colours are nice in it !!!

The embroidered one is beautiful! I have a machine that will do embridery but don't know the first thing about how to even get started..don't tell anyone, I am afraid to even put the embroidery unit on :oops:

Thank you for your kind comments; however, I know I am terrible at applique. It actually looked ok after fusing; I should have left it at that, but no, I had to mess it up.......typical. I love to convert designs to embroidery. Thanks again.......... For your comments a big :thumbup: Jinnie

I finally got my Shamrocks done!! A little late, but have the April rosebuds completed, too. Yeah!
My scrappy version--hot off the ironing board--notice the wet spots!
