I was finally getting the hang of it by the 4th clover block! I also posted a picture of my other two so you can understand the colour choice I made for the shamrock block!
thanks for choosing an applique pattern sewjoice, although I procrastinated ( because I was unsure how to machine applique it) it was a great learning experience.. I would like to do more machine applique!
Aberi I love your blocks and your color choices :-)...Your applique job does not look like this was only your second attempt in applique. I Love it

My first picture shows why I DO NOT like applique..I've never been able to do it neatly and this really shows the mistakes.....I can blame it on my arthritis and/or my carpal tunnel. LOL

The second pic is one that I designed in my embroidery software and am making a quilt as you go block in the hoop for a wall hanging. I can handle the emb. machine and designing just fine.

I love the embroidered one!!! It is beautiful. The appliqued one is good... it just takes practice... The more you do the better it gets. Your colours are nice in it !!!

Thank you for your kind comments; however, I know I am terrible at applique. It actually looked ok after fusing; I should have left it at that, but no, I had to mess it up.......typical. I love to convert designs to embroidery. Thanks again.......... For your comments a big  Jinnie

I finally got my Shamrocks done!! A little late, but have the April rosebuds completed, too. Yeah!

My scrappy version--hot off the ironing board--notice the wet spots!

My controlled colorway--used a varigated thread to buttonhole stitch
