Lovely block but too hard without a hands on teacher for me. I used Januarys blocks (made two) and made pillows out of them. This is a great way to try new things. LOVE IT!
Neat wall hanging - for sure !!!! Thank you for sharing.

Your wall hanging turned out great. Glad you are playing along and doing your own thing. We love to see teh progress folks are making.

I too wanted a four-leaf one as my DS used to bring his mommy four-leaf clovers all the time. My DM taught him how to look for them. Still have one on my fridge from 20 some years ago.

Is April ready to be posted yet??? Aarrgghh!

Here is my shamrock block. I too wanted a four leaf clover so I just overlapped my heart appliques. This is my first attempt at applique and I liked it. I used the fusible web which was a little tough to stitch through but it didn't look finished without it.

Is the fusible web really durable without stitching it down? I probably will try the freezer paper next just to see which I like better.

I'm enjoying seeing everyone's blocks because they're all so pretty and different.

I've tried to send this a few times so it'll either show up several times or not at all!

Elisabrat--your wall hanging is ready just in time for St. Patrick's day! Looks good.
nik--Blocks look great, but I really like the soft pastel look of your second block.

Well, here is my Shamrock. Not my best work but it's made. I really need to spend more time practicing applique! ;-)
