Mariposa has picked Morning Star2 as our May star block. You can find the pattern and directions at Quilter's Cache:

http://www.quilterscache.com/M/MorningStar2Block.html

Thanks to Mariposa for picking this beautiful star.

You will be working with bias edges in this star, so treat them gently and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Hope everyone has fun with this one.

Thinking about fabrics - choosing the fabrics takes as much time for me as making the block!

Tell us how you try to do it and we'll see if someone can help you out. Sometimes it's just one small little thing that makes the difference. Do you have a Mac or a PC?
