I'm behind. Doing two school quilts, teaching kids to quilt, and a BOM - seem to impact how much time I have I hope to get all caught up by next week.

Happy Valentine's Day!

well the coffee is HOT strong and delicious.. come on over.. oh yes lemon filled donuts.. my dh bought six yesterday. I asked why half a dozen? (he is only one person right?) he said 'cause I like them. oh. six donuts. Think he will flop over of sugar overload so please come help him eat them. Bet you money they will be all gone by tonight so best sneak over now and pilfer one or four. I don't eat them and well taking up my quilting counter space so surely you want to help out?

I am waiting so patiently for the next clue.. Quiltermomma sure wish things settle down in your home and that the family gets healthy and STAYS healthy! nothing like a sick man to test ones power of love... yikes. Isnt it a blast going over your scraps though? I look at things and think oh that was from this and oh forgot all about that.. AND lots of my scraps are others scraps and I forget that I even had them folded up so neatly on the shelf amongst a thousand other scraps they get lost in the confusion lol.. so its a new treat everytime I explore in my stash lol. AND this stash busting is not working btw. My girlfriend in CA who is super fabric generous said she is mailing me another box of scraps again. Some are smaller like 10" some are not scraps at all and more 1/2 yrd to 1 yrd sized. I think this is my lucky fabric month lol. My mother in law sent me a box of BUTTONs some are even bakelite.. and then she sent me a box of rick rack and zippers.. and another of her fabric scraps.. its been a sewing Christmas type month for the brat! yahoo!

Brat, I'll be right over to enjoy a lemon filled doughnut and coffee. Yum!
Just last night I picked up a piece of fabric and said, oh I got this when we visited our daughter at college. But then I had to remember why I was holding it

Happy Valentines Day!

Wait for it, wait for it, wait for it...I've been telling myself this for about an hour now. I finished my clue 2 last Friday but haven't had the chance to post pics. We've been babysitting 4 of our grandkids this week. They went home last night but we had company over for supper and hubby says he's taking me out today so it looks like I'll just be peeking at the 3rd clue today and hopefully get to work on it tomorrow. Happy Valentine's Day!

WEEK 3

Take your 52 blocks and put together in sets of 4, in a color pallet pleasing to your eye. Arrange 4 of the blocks as shown, and sew together with accurate ¼” seams. I also chain stitch these pieces, just make sure you are putting them together in order to get a block like the finished one shown below. Press. Make 13 blocks.
