Finally, here is my first block. I still need to do the band on the vase. My husband got me a Husqvarna Viking and I used one of the decorative stitches. I am still learning how to work all of this fancy stuff.

Carsey, what stitch did you use around everything. It's hard to tell from the picture but it sure looks unique. I like it.

AM SO EXCITED TO BE DOING THE BOM FOR BALTIMORE ALBUM. AM WONDERING, THE FIRST ONE HAS AN ENLARGED OR SEAM ALLOWANCE OUTLINE WITH IT. HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS FOR THE SECOND ONE? SINCE THIS IS ALL NEW TO ME, I NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET.

I think the seam allowance is on the individual pieces that print up separately...That's for hand stitched applique...if that's what you are doing.

Finally got my fabrics for this over the weekend.
Got them all pre-washed with Retayne (cuz I picked pretty vibrant batiks).
Got fabrics ironed yesterday.
Went to start printing pattern templates... printer is out of ink. ARGH!
So I guess it will be another week before I get to start this.
<OK, going off to pout in a corner now>
