okie

you've got the piecing order right - its late but your mind is still sharp :D

maybe you just had an off day with that block because J6 doesn't need to be mirrored.

do you mean you want each block section in its on piece?

if thats what you mean, you need to print templates. go to the print menu and select templates instead of foundation pattern

thank you but printing templates also only prints the seam allowance outline. i am working on figureing out how to get my pp going

kluedesigns 11-07-2009 09:23 PM

lets try this.

go to print whatever it is that you're printing but i want you to click on "page setup" then click on "printer" then click on the down arrow by "name" and change it to "doPDFv6".

this will convert the image into a PDF file. i want you to post that PDF file here so i can see what you're talking about and try to fix the problem.

I myself had problems with printing the patterns.
If I want to print a block than I put my settings on "non scaling". That will work for the blocks but I still have difficulties printing the triangles.

Luckely I have the book also and i love working from the book.

I must do some fabricshopping. I really want to work with different backgroundfabrics from light brown to beige. That makes that i did create an other problem...the colour of my sashings...
Should I use also different light browns and beige for my sashings? Or dark brown? Or should I get rid of my (silly) idea to work with different backgrounds?

I don't know much about this but may I ask, are you working with just one block right now or have you tried several. I looked at my software and the very last block (M-13) doesn't show paper piece even if I pick it, but the very first one (A-1)does. Maybe the block you are looking at can't be done by pp. On M-13 I can choose template and preview and it shows the temples and their corresponding letters and a small picture for the placement, but there is nothing for pp.
