I reduced mine to 10.5'' because I have an idea for setting in it with the barn we did, it doesn't look like much now, but hopefully it will in the quilt.

Thanks, Sulabug for choosing the house and thanks for all your kind words and encouragement.

candy, very pretty fabrics! Good job.

Don't feel bad. I am a couple of months behind myself but I will get caught up.

Yep!! That's how grandma's outhouse looked! There was one very big difference in the one she had and the one on your blade. Her outhouse was a two-seater!!!!

Your Outhouse block is wonderful!! I really like the batik fabric you chose to make it out of. I am anxious to see it next to the barn that you have already made. Keep us posted. Keep on creating!!

Gosh, I was dropped off this thread and when I looked ......WOW - love all the outhouses, both fabric and real.

I had better get to work on mine.

Sulabug, I so appreciate the confidence you have in us but I think this one just about did me in. I had so much trouble with this and I'm not happy with the results but decided it was done for now. Maybe someday I will return to try it again but right now I would rather have to use an outhouse than make another one!

it looks better in the picture than it does in my sewing room!

Oh Mary, your block turned out wonderful!! It just looks terrific to me. You did a great job & I think if you look at it again in a couple of days, you will be able to see just how nice it really turned out. I really like the grass that you put around the outside of your Outhouse. Very nice work.

Another great Outhouse block that you have made!! I like your fabric choices & the colors you picked. It looks great just the way it is. But if you want to add those extra pieces, go for it. I am so glad that you are getting caught up on your blocks.

I think it looks great!! We tend to be too critical of ourselves.

Looks really good. Lots of fun making this one wasn't it. Also lots of small pieces to cut.

Thanks for all the encouragement. It does look better now that I look again. I think I was just tired of sewing/ripping/sewing/ripping. I appreciate the support received here.

I cheated on the door! When I saw all thoses little tiny pieces I decided to substitute the wood plank fabric. (I'll have to embroidery on the hinges.) It helped me to do the block in sections too and only cut out what I needed at the time. It was a busy day! I built the 3 row houses, the log cabin and the out house all on Sunday. PHEW! Out did DH who didn't even get his shop cleaned out. LOL

I LOVE IT!! Your Aussie flavour touch, just made your Outhouse block extra special. I really like the crooked boards on the door. Your trees & Koala is really nice too. You did GOOD. Thank you for sharing with all of us. PS: Am I right with Koala?
