I reduced mine to 10.5'' because I have an idea for setting in it with the barn we did, it doesn't look like much now, but hopefully it will in the quilt. Thanks, Sulabug for choosing the house and thanks for all your kind words and encouragement. |
wow I love what you did with it. Adding the tree just makes it pop!

Love this block Sula and the one you did, very nice. I am getting behind, but hope to catch up.

I love the cool outhouse. I've got to get busy or I'm going to be in the outhouse forever. LOL

Don't feel bad. I am a couple of months behind myself but I will get caught up.

Sulabug, I so appreciate the confidence you have in us but I think this one just about did me in. I had so much trouble with this and I'm not happy with the results but decided it was done for now. Maybe someday I will return to try it again but right now I would rather have to use an outhouse than make another one!
it looks better in the picture than it does in my sewing room! |

Thanks for all the encouragement. It does look better now that I look again. I think I was just tired of sewing/ripping/sewing/ripping. I appreciate the support received here.

I cheated on the door! When I saw all thoses little tiny pieces I decided to substitute the wood plank fabric. (I'll have to embroidery on the hinges.) It helped me to do the block in sections too and only cut out what I needed at the time. It was a busy day! I built the 3 row houses, the log cabin and the out house all on Sunday. PHEW! Out did DH who didn't even get his shop cleaned out. LOL |
