WOW!! :D I am amazed at how gorgeous your quilt turned out to be. You have done an AWESOME job making it. I also hope you win a ribbon or prize at the quilt shows. You will have to share with us when you are all done. You have been such an inspiration to all of us who have followed through with the House BOM for 2011. I applaud you & thank you for making this turn out to be the best ever!!

Cheryl, thank you for your very kind words. I am excited to see it in the shows; I have no expectations of winning anything; I just want to see it hanging, and take some good photos of it!! Thank you for hosting the 2011 Houses BOM. It was my first experience with paper piecing, and that is now my favorite technique. You are always so kind and encouraging to your fellow quilters!

Here is a photo of my finished quilt. I waited until the Sonora show so I could get a good photo of it. As it turned out the lighting was not very good so the pic is not great either! But I am so glad this one is finished!

Nicky, I just love your quilt. Every time I look at it I see something different. This time I saw the block with the sunset over water. Beautiful.

KSenn...........WOW, your House quilt for 2011 has turned out just as gorgeous as the other's. It couldn't be any nicer & I thank you so much for sharing your finished picture with all of the rest of us. I have to say that the year of 2011 was my most favorite BOM pattern's. I must get busy now & get mine put together. You girls are such an inspiration to me & all of the other's.

KSenn, Love your neighborhood! So creative with all those different ways to use blocks. I like the red border too. Great job. This was such a fun BOM to do. My favorite too, SulaBug (even though I've only done a few).

Yes Jeanine, it is so fun to see these finished & completed quilts. I am ashamed to say that I don't have mine put together yet, but I am promising myself that starting in January this will be my primary goal to get it put together. I am just as anxious to see mine all done, as I am seeing the other's that have finished their's!!

Hi Whitepine. It is a great rainy day, even here in Sequim. I love green trees, so I had better love rain!

Of all the nerve, what on earth is your Boss thinking? :D There must be sewing time, so one can think straight enough to do one's job!! PS: You might not want to mention that I said that!! LOL

It's not a great picture, hanging on my drapes with poor lighting, but it gives the idea. I have the bottom border ready to stitch on but, silly me, I need to do the other side first!
