Thanks SulaBug but so you don't have to work too hard to copy it, I'll put the link at the bottom. I saved this many years ago and there are more applique there of birdhouses..it was originally used for Chambray shirts and sweetshirts!

But you know by now I love bright colorful fabrics and I have no problems putting them together! lol

Thanks to everyone who commented on my block. In case you didn't notice, the birdhouse fabric was directional, and, of course, I didn't realize I had fused it upside down until I had appliqued all the flowers, leaves and roof! I suddenly decided I liked it that way.... :shock: Oh, well - whoever uses the quilt can play "find the mistake"!

Jeanine - the stripes are made up of tiny blue flowerpots with a yellow flower in each. Mine are upside down!

Ohhh, those are flowerpots!? perhaps I should have my eyes checked.

HAHAHA, well in that case I need mine checked too...I didn't notice the 'flowerpots' either.. Cute blocks.

All the Blocks are just beautiful, love the one with the Batiks...

Absolutely loving all the blocks I am seeing.

I need to get a quilt done for my sister just now so I will be saving my BOM patterns for the moment but I will be keeping an eye on what everyone is doing.

Here is my June BOM. I, too, used the paper pieced pattern from quilters cache, but only used two of the birdhouses. I might still add some vines or something. But, my fifth cat (four are in my February block), finally showed up here!

I love the cat, just waiting for a bird to appear!

Love your birdhouses Kris! I have that same fabric or some of it. I bought a lot of it and have used it in every swap over the years!

Thank you! I bought a FQ of that fabric because I had to make a schoolhouse block for the Pony Club Quilt. I was hoping I could use it again because it was very expensive (about $ 5.00)

Thanks for all the kind comments on my bride and groom block. They are a machine embroidery design. No way could I do applique that small, can barely do large designs!
